He returned to practice on a limited basis on Thursday, so he's trending in the right direction.
Analysis: The rookie first-round pick has put up some quality IDP stats during his brief career. Edmunds had eight tackles before departing, the seventh time in eight games he's recorded seven or more, and leads the Bills in that category with 62. Edmunds also tops all Buffalo players with seven passes defensed. He's likely questionable to face the Bears.
|Apr. 26, 2018 8:26 PM PT9:26 PM MT10:26 PM CT11:26 PM ET3:26 GMT11:26 8:26 PM MST9:26 PM CST10:26 PM EST10:26 PM CT7:26 UAE (+1)23:26 ETNaN: - The Bills traded up to select Edmunds with the No. 16 overall pick of the 2018 draft.
Analysis: A freak athlete, Edmunds ran a blazing 4.54 seconds in the 40-yard dash while carrying 253 pounds on a 6-foot-5, long-armed frame and doesn't turn 20 years old until May 2. The Virginia Tech All-American may have too much of a learning curve to start immediately, but offers the Bills great upside and versatility as a player capable of both rushing the passer and covering in space.
